About the Speaker

Casey has a degree in marketing and was Campaign Manager at Tourism WA before co-founding Sun Bella with her mum, Jillian, back in 2012. As a nurse, Jillian noticed that her patients weren’t protecting their skin because they hated hat-hair, found sunscreens oily, and generally found sun protection options to be hot and uncomfortable. Together, the duo created Sun Bella, a brand that blurs the lines between fashion and sun protection, creating UPF50+ accessories and apparel that women love using.

Sun Bella has grown from selling a local markets to a successful e-commerce and wholesale business, selling several thousand units of their own products each year. Sun Bella products have been used by the likes of Nigella Lawson, Julia Morris and Queen Camilla and have won several awards.
