2. Kelly Winrow, EOSIT
Kelly Winrow has recently celebrated 21 years in her IT business, EOS IT. The journey has not been without many challenges and self-reflection along the way.
Technology is a fast-moving and ever-evolving industry and the company has reinvented itself on more than one occasion.
It all began in 2002, when Kelly and her husband Karl moved from the UK to Western Australia. They noticed a gap in the local market for a specialist to help and support businesses with technology.
Over the past 21 years, the backbone and the “why” for Kelly has always been to help, support, and guide their clients to manage their businesses more effectively with the use and understanding of technology.
These days they provide business IT support to many companies throughout WA and nationwide including a partnership with US-based Cerium Networks.
However, the “why” has always remained the corae of everything they do.
“Managing a business takes hard work and dedication, compassion and empathy, motivation and the drive to succeed, and there will be disappointment and failure at times that will make you question your “why” but ultimately all the sacrifices and hard times are worth it if you get it right!”
“It’s been a rollercoaster ride that is for sure, but for the most part I have enjoyed the ride, and it’s not over yet, I keep learning and growing as a business owner and personally.”
