In this presentation, Sue will cover the essentials of preparing a proposal that will stand out from your competitors and win the deal. What you learn in this session is equally applicable to grant applications, job applications, and other forms of proposals, as the aspects of persuasion work across all applications, industries, job levels and cultures.

About the Speaker
Sue Findlay of Bidbuddy has been helping companies win tenders since 2003 and has logged a +80% win rate over that time.
Sue is unique in her industry in that she comes from a senior procurement background in both the State Government and private sector. As such she has a deep understanding of the corporate procurement process, buyer needs and behaviours. She also has broad industry knowledge and project management qualifications/experience.
To assist her to win more consistently she has successfully mastered the application of neuro-linguistic programming (“NLP”) in her bid responses.
Sue is a past Lecturer in the MBA programme at Curtin University. For 15 years, she taught Business Performance, Strategic Procurement and Marketing Management. She also runs highly successful workshops in:
- bid strategy
- tender development;
- scope development for buyers;
- business writing; and
- project management.
Sue has been writing tender responses for a living since 2003, and began her current business “BidBuddy” in August, 2010. Sue still assists in procurement work to keep current in the profession. She now leads a virtual team of proposal writers.
Sue keeps a low profile at the request of her regular tendering clients who view her as “their secret weapon”.
