🎙️About the Speaker

Steve D’Alessandro has been a professor of marketing for over ten years and worked in several universities across Australia. He is well known as an applied business researcher, interested in applying consumer behaviour theories to solve societal and business problems., He has worked for a variety of profit and not-for-profit companies including Ford, BHP, Telstra, Amaysim, DVA, and Origin Energy. He has published 12 books, mainly in marketing education, on Market Research, Consumer Behaviour and Services Marketing, with well-known publishers Oxford University Press, Cengage Learning, Taylor and Francis, and Pearson Education. Over his career, he has been on research teams responsible for grants of $153 million. Steve is currently the Chief Co-Editor of the Journal of Consumer Behaviour. In 2012, he was awarded the Distinguished Marketing Educator of the Year Award with ANZMAC.
