Speakers

Dawn Russell – The Heartware Group

Dawn Russell heads up The Heartware® Group and shows CEOs and MDs how to add 20% (and more) to their bottom line by challenging them to use human data analytics to engineer exceptional, highly engaged leaders right across the organisation, while financially measuring the return on investment that world-class employee engagement can bring.

She is specifically committed to turning business strategy into tangible results through the optimal deployment of people, using the most powerful psychometric assessment tool for predicting workplace behaviours: The Predictive Index.

Dawn’s vision is a world where every workplace is staffed with passionate, purposeful, committed people.

If we looked back over Dawn’s life, we’d see a 30-year career with one of the world’s best airlines, Singapore Airlines, before she started The Heartware Group 12 years ago.

But there are also army fatigues, and a rocket launcher; high heels and dancing; curry creations in the kitchen, and all manner of green things growing in the garden.

Books galore and travel (of course!) – much of it to her favourite city, Paris. There’s learning to swim at the age of 30 and several triathlons after that, including a half-ironman.

There’s also failure, emotional turmoil, bike riding, and raising money for cancer research.

Known for her polished yet hard-hitting style, Dawn’s success relies on her ability to connect deeply with people at an emotional level, inspiring and empowering them to bring their best selves to the workplace to create exceptional business results.

As an Amazon international, #1 best-selling author, Dawn has published two books: Heartwired! How Progressive Organisations are Adding 20% and More to their Bottom Line Through Engaged Leadership (2016) and This Little Piggy Went to Market (2011).

The Predictive Index

The Predictive Index measures behavioural drives as well as cognitive ability to “predict” successful on-the-job performance. PI assessments help business leaders:

✅ Understand the needs of a specific role, team, project, or business strategy

✅ Collect candidate or employee “people data”

✅ Use that data to make more informed—and more objective—decisions

These decisions include who to hire, how to manage, who to place on which career pathway, who to place on a project team, how to motivate, and more.

The Predictive Index platform provides easy, affordable access to the type of psychometric testing traditionally used by large multinational companies.

This was followed by engagements with Kone, a European lift manufacturer, to lead a global product development project for lift modernisation products, event and CPD marketing and management for the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Organisation Design and Restructure for the Red Cross Blood Service Super Centres.
