Possessing resilience – the ability to bounce back from problems – is something lacking in our society in general so we often give up too easily or fall apart at the first sign of a problem. We need to possess the ability to solve our problems as adults in the world today. When we don’t know how to effectively deal with our problems in the workplace then our work suffers, and it is difficult to get things done. We want to help build workplaces filled with team members that can deal with problems in a healthy way and avoid the ever increasing numbers of burnout in adults. This session explains the importance of resilience as adults and educates how to build the ability to deal with problems well in and out of the workplace.
Main Outcomes / Learnings:

About the Speaker
Adam Przytula is a national and international speaker, an entrepreneur from Perth, WA as the founder and Director of Armed For Life and a the author of the book The Road to Resilience (published by Wiley Publishing) released in Feb 2022 and has already sold over 4000 copies around the world. He has a secondary teaching degree, has been speaking for over 23 years and created the organisation 12 years ago as a result of his own experience.
Being bullied every day of high school and struggling at home lead to experiencing depression and anxiety and having a suicide plan in year 10 – which fuels his passion for helping others. Since inception in 2012 Armed For Life has now worked with over 500 schools all around WA (including Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Albany, Narrogin, Busselton and Geraldton), Nationally in Adelaide and rural NSW and Internationally in Cape Town South Africa, and has spoken to over 1 million people.
In 2014 Armed For Life won the Telstra Australian Business Award in the Micro Business Category as well as a string of other awards in the 4 years since including recently winning Momentum’s Most Inspiring Man of the Year at the Men in Black Ball for Mens Mental Health in 2021. Adam now runs Armed For Life full time with a team of speakers and radically diverse members including basketball players, hip hop artists, parkour instructors and barbers for the 12 different programs that they run in and out of schools as well as presenting on 30 different topics.
Armed For Life now runs presentations and programs in the workplace and has worked with Rio Tinto, MercyCare and about to complete a 6 month Resilience and Wellbeing Program for Western Power.
