Clinton in’t Veld, founder and past Chief Executive Officer of the X-Pert Group of companies and author of the dynamic and internationally recognised Managing by Project®(MBP®) methodology, has worked in the professional field of Strategic, Program, Project, Change and Agile Management for more than 25 years. Clinton has written an impressive number of articles and papers on the art and science of Managing by Project and Project Management. He has attended numerous Project Management congresses and training academies in Africa, Europe, America, the Middle East, India, Asia, and Australia. He has also presented and guided several thousand delegates in Strategic Management, Change and Transition Management, Project Management and Agile Ways of Work worldwide. His entrepreneurial mindset, passion for harnessing value for customers and his skill as a trainer and mentor in Agile ways of work, now see him delivering on the Curtin University Masters’ Degree in Modern Project Management. Clinton is an avid ultra-distant athlete, having completed several marathons (42km) and ultra-marathons (90km+). Clinton is a black belt in mixed martial arts and has undertaken several high-altitude mountain hikes in the Alps. In 2004, he reached the summit of the highest free-standing mountain in the world, Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m). Clinton is also a very keen road and mountain bike cyclist and has competed in several major cycling events in both Australia and abroad.

In this 3-hour session, our Agile Coach, Clinton in’t Veld will introduce you to the Agile Scrum Framework covering off on the 5 key Scrum Ceremonies (Product Backlog Planning and Prioritisation, SPRINT Planning, Daily Stand-Up’s, Product Review, SPRINT Retrospective) and the 5 Scum Values (Courage, Focus, Commitment, Respect, openness) before taking workshop attendees through a simulated SCRUM Project where participants will have the opportunity of experiencing the workings and rhythm of SCRUM.
