Life’s Truths – A Fresh Look at a Familiar Game

We all know the value and importance of quality relationships based on mutual trust-­‐ right?

We all understand that communication (or lack there-­‐of) is at the centre of virtually all conflict, misunderstandings and relationship breakdowns -­‐ right?

Of course we know that our ability to positively (and sustainably) influence people is determined more by who we are (our moral-­‐fibre) than what we do (skills & knowledge) – right?

And we certainly all know that an enjoyable, productive & profitable workplace doesn’t happen by accident. It relies on everyone ‘doing his or her bit’ -­‐ right?

It certainly is a familiar game….

…So -­‐ could that be why there are often Gaps in our relationships, Gaps in the results we achieve and Gaps in the quality of our work environments..?

Perhaps the game has become a little too familiar?

This session is all about remembering, (or maybe realising) Life’s ‘Truths’. You know…those fundamental things that determine the quality of our work, family and social lives.

Now these are not new Truths -­‐ at least they are not Truths that I have invented – Nor are they complex and difficult to consider or comprehend (I’m not impressed by ‘unnecessarily complex’).

However, these are Truths that once adopted, can ultimately lead you to being an even better person, who develops stronger relationships through improved self awareness & better communication that then ultimately leads to you getting a range of better results – both professionally and personally.

Yes, that is a pretty ambitious proposition –

However first hand experience tells me… it’s also completely realistic!
